African Rural University has held her 6th graduation ceremony which was done both virtual (zoom, YouTube) and physical at her main Campus Kagadi. 11 students were awarded a bachelor’s Degree in Rural Development. Speaking at the ceremony, The chancellor African Rural University Hon. Justice Ezekiel Muhanguzi tasked the graduates to use the available opportunities of job creation instead of looking for jobs after graduation. He further assured graduands that they have acquired enough requisite skills to enable them forge ahead and chart a path towards a successful destiny.He challenged students to be pro-active. “You must do something, even if it means volunteering”. he stated

The Chief Guest, Dr Aliba Kiiza Emmanuel, The Executive Secretary Peace and Justice Commission of the Uganda Episcopal Conference and Chairman Board Uganda Micro Finance Support Center. Challenged the graduands to think ahead so that they can become women of substance in the communities they live so as to impact development.

The vice Chancellor Dr. Mwalimu Musheshe Ashoka Fellow thanked the Parents for supporting their students and also for bringing them to African Rural University to acquire the knowledge and skills enabling them to impact development in the communities they live.
