Kibaale district local government has appealed to National planning Authority to partner with URDT, ARU to effectively realize Uganda vision 2040.The message was contained in the speech delivered by the Secretary for Finance Ndibwami B Yosiya on behalf of the Kibaale district chairperson Peter Amara during an interactive meeting with National Planning authority delegates, URDT/ARU staff and its development partners at URDT/ARU multi-purpose hall in Kagadi town. Amara’s request was supported by other district leaders who maintain that NPA incorporates the philosophy of Visionary Approach and Epicenter Strategy if the Uganda Vision 2040 is to be realized effectively.
In his engagement on the URDT Visionary Approach with National Planning Authority delegates, the CEO URDT and founder ARU Dr. Mwalimu Musheshe Senior explained that URDT embarked on teaching the public from problem solving to Visionary approach which supports the National Planning Authority to adopt the creative tension.
However Dr. Abel Rwendeire the deputy chairman for National Planning Authority highlighted on challenges of public concept of consumption than investment. He noted that URDT and ARU have moved faster towards implementing the vision 2040 in which he pledged to interlink the epicenter concept to board members for more integration.
