The Buyaga East Member of Parliament Hon.Eric Musana has cautioned leaders in higher institutions of learning to stop giving lame excuses while executing their mandate. Musana sounded this advice on Saturday 12th May 2018 as a guest of honor at the swearing in ceremony of the new guild cabinet at African Rural University held at ARU main campus in the Centre for Reflection and Development hall in Kagadi Town Council Kagadi District.

Musana said that  Uganda is facing a problem of leaders failing to fulfill their responsibilities by giving lame excuses leading to poor service delivery. He asks the sworn in leaders at the university never to fall in the same trap.

After swearing in,  the new Guild President Ms. Anyinge Christine Ojok promised to work hard and smart as a team guided by equity and modesty to take the university to another level.

The Vice Chancellor for ARU  who is also the founder URDT Dr. Mwalimu Musheshe said that ARU teaches women who are the leaders of today and tomorrow and in all kinds of leadership.
