Asante Africa Foundation is a not-for-profit Organisation whose vision is to educate East Africa’s youth to confidently address life’s challenges, thrive in the global economy, and catalyze positive change; It operates in Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda.  They got to know ARU through Dr. Takako Mino a volunteer research consultant at ARU

The Purpose of their Visit was to Understand the work of ARU -URDT so as to work towards a partnership to scale up the work done by URDT/ARU and Asante Africa Foundation

The Dr. Mwalimu Musheshe welcomed the team to ARU and commended Dr. Takako for sharing ARU’s work with Asante Africa Foundation. In his communication, he stated the following:-

  4. Traditional Wisdom Specialist Concept

Erna Grasz, Director of Asante Africa Foundation was delighted to be at ARU; she commended the work being done by the institution towards rural development and transformation, she shared more about who they are as Asante Africa;

  1. An institution that works with youth 10-24yrs
  2. Offer livelihood skills and give tool kits to youth to thrive
  3. They offer accelerated scholarships
